Michael Cuddyer, Kevin Slowey, Luke Hughes and Brian Duensing are among the players working out today at the Lee County Sports Complex. Several other Twins players are in the area and are expected to keep trickling in as the first official workout day nears.

But there were more autograph seekers than players when things got rolling today.

Meanwhile, a couple links to check out this morning.

I'm still skeptical that the Cubs will move to Florida. But a story in today's Fort Myers News Press reveals that MLB commissioner Bud Selig is againt the ticket tax that's being presented as a way to fund a new facility in Mesa, Ariz. White Sox owner Jerry Reinsdorf (no big surprise) is leading the uproar against every team being charged a tax to support another club.

The only thing that makes this possible is that the Ricketts family, the new owners of the Cubs, has ties to the Naples area and not Arizona. And if Arizona can't get this deal through,a move to the Naples area could happen.

But the Cubs not in Mesa? Can't wrap my brain around that one.

Check out the Chicago Tribune's AL Central primer today. It includes a poll to predict the division champion, As of this writing, a certain team had a sizeable lead.

That's it for now. Will post any news updates. And I've got to come up with a video report this afternoon. I have no idea what it will be on.
