These articles and photos were produced by the 15 high school students who participated in the ThreeSixty Summer Journalism Workshop at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul from June 14 to 26. Eight students produced print stories, two were photographers and five produced videos, all related to immigration.

ThreeSixty uses the tools and principles of journalism to help Minnesota youth -- particularly minority and low-income high school students -- tell the stories of their lives and communities, practice the skills of active citizenship, learn the basics of good reporting and strong writing, and pursue opportunities in higher education as well as careers in journalism and communications.
The Star Tribune, St. Paul Pioneer Press, Twin Cities Black Journalists, the Asian American Journalists Association, University of St. Thomas and other donors sponsor ThreeSixty's summer journalism camps, as well as other programs throughout the school year.
