Atmosphere: A sophisticated yet Midwestern-approachable dining room with — hurrah — conversation-friendly acoustics.
Service: Always gracious yet uneven, moving from right on the money to absent-minded and inattentive.
Price ranges: At breakfast, entrees $6-$15. At lunch, salads $6-$15, sandwiches $12-$14, entrees $14-$27. At dinner, salads and small plates $6-$13, entrees $16-$33, side dishes $4-$6. Dessert $3-$11.
Recommended dishes: Scallops, pork tenderloin, roast chicken, flatbreads, hummus, watermelon-peach salad, cookie plate.
