Three psychologists were disciplined this month for violating professional rules or failing to pay child support, according to orders made public on Monday by the Minnesota Board of Psychology.
St. Paul psychologist Lisette Wright was suspended for at least three years for engaging in a sexual relationship with a client immediately after ending their professional relationship.
Joel Schirvar of Stillwater was suspended after Washington County notified the board that he hadn’t paid child support.
Ronald Odden of Moorhead must take a course in professional boundaries and pay a $1,000 fine for failing to stop treating two clients. One person persistently pursued a romantic relationship with Odden and the psychologist became friends with the other client.
