Three Vikings defensive starters returned to practice this morning.

Cornerbacks Captain Munnerlyn and Terence Newman and middle linebacker Eric Kendricks all practiced, albeit on a limited basis, for the first time this week. The only Vikings player who did not practice today was defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd, who is still not close to returning.

Munnerlyn missed last weekend's loss to the Redskins with a sprained ankle and Kendricks was knocked out of that game with a hip injury.

Newman, meanwhile, missed yesterday's practice because of an illness.

Fellow cornerback Xavier Rhodes, who suffered a concussion against the Redskins, was limited but still practiced for a second straight day and looks to be on track to be back in action Sunday against the Cardinals.
