Threat to Florida Late Next Week

September 24, 2010 at 7:25PM

It's nowhere on the map yet, but it had to be shown. Here is where a tropicalsystem of some unknown magnitude may be, let's say next Wednesday. From there, the storm will be northbound and may play a big role across western Cuba andFlorida later next week.By the way, this is the system you might be hearing the rumors about. You know, the one coming up the East Coast next weekend. I guess that could happen, butin order to do so, it's going to have to push a big high pressure system out ofthe way. North of the Carolinas, I wouldn't worry about it too much at thistime. To the south, however, the threat of a significant storm later next weekis genuine.
