ROCHESTER, MINN. - Employees of the city-county Government Center in downtown Rochester were evacuated for about an 90 minutes Wednesday while officers checked out a bomb threat.

Sgt. Jon Turk, Rochester's emergency management coordinator, said the threat was phoned in to the county administrator's office and courts shortly before 2 p.m.

About 200 people left the building. Olmsted County Sheriff Steve VonWald said the search of the building didn't find anything and the staff was allowed back in about 3:30 p.m.
