This weekend's auto events

Look for Saturday shows in Duluth, Faribault and Preston, Sunday shows in Big Lake and Willmar. Also look for some cruise-ins next week. Check www.autoswalk.com for details. Here are the metro area (plus Willmar) auto events this weekend:

Friday

Saturday

InterMarque Council Spring Kick-Off, Como Park Picnic Hill and Pavilion parking lots, St. Paul (9 am – 2 pm; spectators free; deegalberth@yahoo.com, aaron.courteau@gmail.com). 100+ vintage foreign vehicles; Transportation Artists & Authors Guild exhibit.

Sunday

Pharaohs Spring Swap Meet, EJ's Bar, East Bethel (7 am – noon; spectators, swappers free; pharaohsmn@netzero.com, www.pharaohsofminnesota.com).

American Legion Post 643 Car Show, Savage (9 am – 3 pm; all free; 952-223-0332). All makes, models, years welcome; trophies, meal specials.

Culver's, Champlin (noon - 4 pm; spectators free; 763-506-0290, 63galaxieman@jmknowlton.com). Dj, food specials.

29th Annual Car Show & Swap Meet, Kennedy Elementary, 824 7th St. SW, Willmar (8 am – 3 pm; spectators $5, ages 63+ $3, under 12 free; www.willmarcarclub.com). One of the state's larger shows (39 classes) has a dj, a free shuttle to a mall and a car museum.
