The cones and barrels will be out as MnDOT repaves a portion of I-694 in Brooklyn Center and expands the lane restrictions already in place on I-35 in Lakeville down to Elko.

I-694 paving project
MnDOT will repaving the a portion of eastbound I-694 where it intersects with I-94 in Brooklyn Center. The closure runs from 8 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, but this closure won't be as bad as you think.
Traffic will be diverted onto the eastbound lanes of I-94, which runs parallel to 694. Once past the work zone, drivers can either continue east (south) on 94 to Minneapolis, or return to eastbound 694.
