LPGA: Yani Tseng (right) won the LPGA Championship by 10 strokes two weeks ago to become the youngest player (22) to claim four LPGA majors. This weekend, Tseng can finish off her career grand slam. ... Paula Creamer won her first major title at last year's U.S. Women's Open at Oakmont. ... This will be the longest course in U.S. Women's Open history, surpassing Interlachen (6,789 yards in 2008). ... Betsy King, the 1989 and 1990 U.S. Women's Open winner, will compete in her first tour event in nearly six years after qualifying through sectionals. She is 55.

PGA: Steve Stricker this weekend will try to accomplish what has been done only 20 times on the tour: win the same tournament three years in a row. ...
