These people are just peculiar:
It's a harsh term, squatting. I prefer undocumented mortgager. It seems Mr. and Mrs. Quaid said they owned the place, but the owners came up with papers proving they sold it in 2005. They were not only arrested, there's this:
We all thought he was great in the National Lampoon Vacation movies, and it's somewhat surprising no one had to foresight to build movies or a TV show around that character. But that wouldn't have changed things, you suspect; there's something about those two that says they don't believe they law applies to them. Or they're out of money. He hasn't worked a lot lately. His brother's doing okay, so it's not like the country has turned on all things Quaid.
Or they're just weird. Check out their mugshot gallery, and tell me Evi Quaid might not have a few strong opinions about her position in the world and the inferiority of lesser beings.
