Theatre Communications Group gets Twin Cities representation

Officials from the Children's Theatre and Penumbra appointed to national board

The Theatre Communications Group, the service organization for the nation's nonprofit professional theater, has a strong contigent of Twin Cities arts leaders onboard.

TCG has appointed Sarah Bellamy (above), associate artistic director for education at Penumbra Theatre, to its governing board. She joins Michelle Hensley, artistic director of Ten Thousand Things, and Tim Jennings, the new managing director at the Children's Theatre.

The TCG board also includes Roche Schulfer of the Goodman Theatre; executive director Teresa Eyring, formerly of the Children's Theatre; and playwrights Lynn Nottage and Lydia Diamond.
