'MAD VAX: BEYOND MEASLEDOME'
Road rage! Rashes! Celebs rule, scientists drool! The improv gang at Brave New Workshop is notorious for creating topical mashups, and the title of its spring/ summer show is right on point, riffing on the anti-vaccination controversy and the hit movie of the moment, "Mad Max: Fury Road." Former understudies Heather Meyer and Ryan Nelson will be making their debuts as full-time cast members, joining Bobby Gardner, Tom Reed and Taj Ruler. (7:30 p.m. Thu., 8 p.m. Fri.-Sat. through Aug. 1. Brave New Workshop Theatre, 824 Hennepin Av. S., Mpls. $25-$36, 612-332-6620 or theatre.bravenewworkshop.com.)
