Theater Latte Da's 2010-11 lineup: plus a free show July 28

Four musical shows include "Evita," a holiday favorite, a regional premiere and a world premiere.

Theater Latte Da will be on the move in its coming season, performing four musical shows at four different venues.

It opens its version of the hit musical "Evita" at the Ordway on Sept. 30, with Zoe Pappas in the title role and a cast that includes Jared Oxborough, Kevin Leines, Paul Coate and Jessica Fredrickson.

Its own instant holiday classic, "All Is Calm," returns to the Pantages on Dec. 16. Next, it's on to the Guthrie's studio theater for the regional premiere of "Song of Extinction," a new play by with music by EM Lewis, opening Feb. 25, 2011. Latte Da returns to St. Paul for the season closer, a world premiere of "Steerage Song," created by artistic director Peter Rothstein and pianist Dan Chouinard, on June 2, 2011.
