From least to most

A decade ago the Twins struck out the fewest times in the American League in back-to-back seasons (2006 and 2007). The past three seasons, only the Cubs and Astros have struck out more than the Twins.

Twins went from best in the AL to second-worst in one season. The jump from 1,069 strikeouts (2012) to 1,430 strikeouts (2013) is the largest one-year increase in MLB history.

1,430 K's: Most in franchise history.

2010: Only Jason Kubel (116) struck out more than 100 times.
