It must be the water. The Script has postponed its soldout concert set for Tuesday at the Orpheum Theatre because a member of the hitmaking Irish rock trio is ill. The show is rescheduled for Aug. 30. This is the third high-profile pop concert in the past month to be postponed on short notice due to artist illness. Jackson Browne had an 11th hour cancellation on May 4 because of throat problems, and he made good on May 29 at the State Theatre. Adele cancelled at the last minute on May 26 at First Avenue because of laryngitis and 90 minutes later announced June 22 as the makeup date. However, last Friday Adele pulled the plug on the rest of her U.S. tour and First Avenue is hoping to reschedule that concert. There are no details yet on the Script's particular illness. The band announced the illness and cancellation on its Twitter account Sunday afternoon; the trio also called off Sunday's show in Washington, D.C.
