Was digging through the archives this afternoon when my first search dug up a story I wasn't looking for - Brian Duensing's first major league start last year.

``FILL-IN DUENSING HOLDS UP FED-UP WHITE SOX," the headline read. Duensing held the White Sox to two runs over five innings in a game the Twins eventually won 3-2.

Duensing's pitches are capped at around 70-75 tonight in his first start of the season, so the club probably would take the same outing, considering the bullpen should be rested.

Duensing said he hasn't thrown his curveball much as a reliever but all his pitches will be in play tonight, It will be interesting to see if he has command of his curveball early.

Brian Roberts is the diva of the Orioles. He showed up at the park yesterday and pretty much said he was playing tonight despite initial plans to wait a couple more days.

Ty Wigginton was suspended for three games for his tirade yesterday but has appealed the decision (big shocker) and is in the lineup today.

Delmon Young's .400 batting average this month is tied for second in the majors behind San Francisco's Buster Posey (.438).
