Cougars keep Huskies winless The most rotten of Apple Cups managed to produce an exciting ending as Nico Grasu kicked a 28-yard field goal on the final play of regulation and then from 37 yards in the second overtime to give Washington State (2-10) a 16-13 victory against winless Washington in Pullman. Ryan Perkins kicked a 22-yard field goal for Washington to send the game to a second overtime, but just a few minutes later was wide right with a 37-yard try.

Harvard ties Columbia for title Gino Gordon ran for 177 yards and a touchdown Saturday at Cambridge, Mass., to lead Harvard to a 10-0 victory against Yale and a share of the Ivy League championship. Harvard is co-champion with Brown, which beat Columbia on Saturday. It's the 13th time Harvard has won at least a share of the title.

Kansas State wins Prince's finale Kansas State had fired coach Ron Prince go out with a victory as Josh Freeman passed for four touchdowns in a 38-30 victory against visiting Iowa State. The Cyclones' Austen Arnaud passed for 440 yards.
