During the month of February, Twin Cities beer lovers were tweeting up a storm, posting photos of empty beer glasses. Why? The competition would crown the bar with the "Cleanest Pint in Minnesota." In a "beer-clean" glass, the suds naturally lace around the interior, creating a creamy tapestry (no suds means there's too much soap residue). Beer drinkers were encouraged to tweet photos of these sudsy glasses with the hashtag #MNcleanpint, plus the name of the bar that served the clean glassware. The month-long Twitter movement ended with hundreds of tweeted photos and the Nomad Pub coming out on top. Now it's time to party. The West Bank bar will celebrate on Wednesday with the official #MNcleanpint party.

Beer distributor J.J. Taylor (the main sponsor behind #MNcleanpint) will hand out prizes to the top tweeters. The Nomad will also offer $4 craft taps during the evening.
