Today's Christmas buffet

Philadelphia at New York

11 a.m., ESPN: Teams on the rise meet for the Knicks' 52nd Christmas game. 76ers center Joel Embiid (questionable, back) is worth watching, when he plays.

Cleveland at Golden State

2 p.m., Ch. 5: The teams and all those superstars are meeting for the third consecutive Christmas after matching up in the past three NBA Finals.

Washington at Boston

4:30 p.m., Ch. 5: The Celtics are atop the East despite an offseason roster overhaul. The Wizards brought back their key players but have floundered.

Houston at Oklahoma City

7 p.m., Ch. 5: OKC's melding of Paul George and Carmelo Anthony with Russell Westbrook is going only OK. James Harden has Houston at 25 victories.

Timberwolves at L.A. Lakers

9:30 p.m., TNT: The Lakers are trying to turn it around with rookies, and the Wolves are making that effort with veterans brought in to join high draft picks.
