The Masters Weather for the Weekend

After rain threatened to interfere with the first round of play at the MastersGolf Tournament on Thursday, the weather will be ideal for golfers and fansthis weekend.High pressure will promote dry weather at Augusta, Ga., both days this weekend.

Nothing more than harmless patchy clouds will filter overhead, allowingsunshine to dominate. Sunscreen and hats are recommended for those attendingthe Masters.

Each day will start off chilly, but afternoon temperatures will pleasantly warminto the mid- to upper 70s. With moisture from the Atlantic and Gulf of Mexicocut off, low humidity will complement the weather. Gusty winds will also not bean issue for the golfers.
