LOS ANGELES - Minnesota's Humphries family just can't stay out of the spotlight. Paul Fisher, creator and host of "Remodeled," a CW reality show about retooling model agencies around the world, will kick off Jan. 17 with a look at how Fisher tries to lure Kaela Humphries, Kris's sister, back into a local Minneapolis talent agency.

Fisher was mingling with critics at a CBS/CW/Showtime cocktail party Wednesday night, which was short on star power, but heavy on producers and showrunners. THe only big names in the room were David Steinberg, Lisa Kudrow and Shane, my favorite bartender.

As a service to the Twin Cities, a got the producer of "The Amazing Race" to vow that the next season will kick off in Minneapolis (Somehow, I don't think he'll live up to it) and also tried to convince the producers of "The Big C" to actually film in the Twin Cities, where the series is set. We'd love to, they said, but it's too expensive. Instead, they'll be filming an episode in Puerto Rico. Yes, folks, it's CHEAPER to shoot in Puerto Rico than Minnesota. That's show biz, folks!
