Dinner with Mitt Romney next Monday will Republican candidate for governor Tom Emmer's "The Last Big Fundraiser," according to a campaign email.
The Bloomington event with the former (and perhaps future) Republican presidential candidate is $500 a ticket, according to an invite, but supporters were also told that state law "caps donations at $1,000 per person/$2,000 per couple," so those who want to who want to give more than the per-person price could pony up.
The event is Romney's second in Minnesota this year -- he was here in April for a Freedom Foundation event. At the time, the Freedom Foundation was headed by Annette Meeks.
Meeks took a leave of absence from the foundation to become Emmer's running mate.
