Highlights of Joe Nathan's first season with the Rangers:

April 6: Worked a perfect ninth inning and picked up the save in the Rangers' season-opening victory over the White Sox.

April 14-15: Appeared in back-to-back games and earned one save in his first trip back to Target Field.

June 22: ERA dipped to a season-low 1.52 with his 16th straight scoreless outing.

July 7: Earned his first victory as a Ranger with two scoreless innings (36 pitches) against the Twins in Arlington. It was his longest outing since Aug. 21, 2009.

July 10: An All-Star for the fifth time, threw a scoreless second inning for the American League.

Aug. 18: Converted his 22nd consecutive save opportunity, setting a Rangers record (the streak is at 23 and counting).

Aug. 23: Became the fifth active pitcher with seven 25-save seasons.
