Today was photo day. That meant the Twins had to move station to station from photos for newspapers, baseball cards and other organizations.
It was also uniform day.
And physical day
And drug testing day. I remember a former Twins player once telling me that his rights were being violated. Now it's just another annual spring event.
So they are starting the workout about an hour later than normal. We're going to be here for awhile today. Not that I'm complaining.
Talked to Anthony Swarzak this morning. He lost 25 pounds during the offseason. He said it began when he went to Venezuela for winter ball, started eating the food and had a `bacterial moment' He lost the weight then decided to work to keep it off.
Happy accident, I guess.
``I need to go to Venezuela,"' I said to him.
