The Gray Lady weighs in on the shutdown

A state always longing for national attention got it from the NYT Saturday.

Even as the effects of Minnesota's massive government shutdown have rippled across the state, the shuttering of state operations continues to attract national attention.

To wit: The front page of Saturday's New York Times, which somewhat smirkingly referred to Minnesotans "who have been known to boast of their professional, efficient government." The article went on to thoroughly dismantle that description.
