Bursting with energy, the international press initially hammered and "carved" Israel's defensive actions against the terrorist sponsored flotilla in a manner not dissimilar from those flotilla members/butchers who awaited the Israeli inspectors with their "humanitarian" clubs and knives. But now these same press groups are moving in snail-like precision, in disseminating information regarding the true deception formulated by Israel's adversaries. Apparently, telling Israel's side of the flotilla story is taboo for some major media sources.
Censorship, however, appears non-existent when it comes to anti-Israel sentiment from a plethora of sources, on issues including the recent flotilla escapade. With this double standard, these liberal international media sources are fast becoming a propaganda tool not unlike the old USSR's Pravda. But for whom do they serve? Why and who are they protecting? Most recently, UTUBE pulled from its site, a pro-Israel video parody of the terrorist sponsored flotilla entitled "We Con the World". Also, Reuters was caught by Little Green Footballs doctoring photos by removing knives, etc. from the flotillas supposed "humanitarian" crew to appear less threatening to the Israeli inspectors who were boarding this supposedly "peaceful" flotilla vessel. "After it got over 3 million hits in barely a week, Youtube has removed the Latma parody video, "We Con the World," a satirical musical portrayal of the true intentions of the Turkish-Hamas 'love boat' captain, crew and passengers". "Youtube has not yet commented on the video's removal, but there were numerous campaigns on social media sites, like Facebook, to force the site to remove the video. There is no record of Youtube's removing the numerous anti-Israel videos put up by Arab groups."-D. Lev, Arutz Sheva "Reuters Admits Cropping Photos of Ship Clash, Denies Political Motive'-Ed Barnes , Fox News, See doctored photos below at: http://www.foxnews.com/world/2010/06/08/reuters-fake-photos-ihh-gaza-blockade-commandos/ "Political commentator Tom Gross told Haaretz that "this isn't the first time Reuters had been caught altering photos to make them less sympathetic to Israel. They did so, for example, in the 2006 Lebanon war." "Everyone makes mistakes, including journalists, but every time Reuters says it makes a mistake, it does so to Israel's detriment, and this looks suspiciously like a deliberate pattern." - Haaretz A "Free" Press should not exist to engage in deception, but rather to expose deception. Regarding Israel, we must protest all media sources who engage in a policy of deceptive reporting or it will ultimately come back to strip us of our freedoms as well.
