The final (?) word on restaurant bonus cards

What I monster I created. It used to be that a handful of restaurants offered bonus cards with a gift card purchase. Now I can't keep up with them.

I've written two Sunday columns on local restaurants offering bonus deals with the purchase of gift cards. Here are the new ones that came in over the weekend.

St. Clair Broiler in St. Paul and Rudolph's and Town Talk Diner in Minneapolis offer a $25 free bonus card with the purchase of $100 in gift cards. The purchased and bonus cards are good at all three restaurants.

Crave restaurants (Galleria Edina, Mall of America Bloomington, and West End St. Louis Park) offer a $15 bonus with every $100 gift card purchase. The offer is also available online with free shipping.

Lindey's Prime Steakhouse in Arden Hills offers a $20 bonus with $100 purchased in gift cards online. Choose "will call" online for free shipping. "Will call" is slightly misleading--you don't have to pick them up. They will still be mailed via regular mail at no cost.

Note: None of the Denny's in the Twin Cities are offering the $5 bonus with a $25 purchase. It's only for corporate-owned Denny's and the locations in the Twin Cities are privately owned, according to a PR rep.
