Golden Sunset The traveler: Linda Van Arsdale of Ham Lake The Scene: In December 2016 our cruise ship sailed out of Mazatlan headed north to Cabo San Lucas. The timing was perfect for sunsets. I had never seen sunsets with such a golden hue because Minnesota sunsets seem to be more in the pink/red catagory. This picture showed the silhouettes of palm trees with the beautiful sky behind them. The trip: My husband and I were on a Princess cruise of the Mexican Riviera and had been told to be ready

"I had never seen sunsets with such a golden hue because Minnesota sunsets seem to be more in the pink/red category. This picture showed the silhouettes of palm trees with the beautiful sky behind them."

the equipment: The photographer used her Canon PowerShot SX50 HS on the auto setting to capture the lovely coastline scene.
