If you thought you had seen the last of the Fitzgerald triplets during their star turn in "Baby Geniuses," you were wrong. Very wrong. Deadspin has connected the dots from a press release sent out by the Victoria Grizzlies of the BC Hockey League: The very same triplets are now heading to Bemidji State to play hockey.

The Victoria Grizzlies (BCHL) are proud to announce the commitments of forwards Myles Fitzgerald, Leo Fitzgerald and Gerry Fitzgerald to the Bemidji State University Beavers for the 2014-15 season. The Fitzgeralds finished top 3 in scoring for the Grizzlies and will finish their final year of Junior Hockey in Victoria next season before heading to Bemidji to join fellow teammate DJ Jones.

The Fitzgeralds commented, "we are so excited to know we have the opportunity to advance our play at the next level for 4 years! And to remain together is fantastic. We Thank Coach Bestwick and Coach Didmon for their unconditional support and efforts on our behalf.".

All three had the same quote? Uncanny!

And yes, there was apparently a sequel to Baby Geniuses.
