Happy holidays, everyone.

While we'd hardly guarantee this is the final post until next week, it very well could be. We have a bunch of glorious consecutive days off starting in about 30 minutes. With the storm of the century bearing down on us, we imagine a lot of that time will be spent doing household projects and eating a lot of delicious food.

But we imagine some of you will be traveling, so we implore you to be safe out there and make sure you enjoy the holidays. If it bothers you that the lasting image over the next several days could be that movie poster from the 1989 Jeff Daniels vehicle "Checking Out," drop us a line with a talker or two. It's not like our fingers are going to stop working or something.

Things to consider in the mean time:

1) Site, date and time of the next RandBall Redactular.

2) New Year's Resolutions for you and your favorite local athletes.

3) The best and worst parts of a holiday snowstorm.

4) Blueberry pie.

5) The hypnotic spelling of "Favrvaris."
