Bodies twist and fly through the air, bounce off each other and stand still in UpLift Physical Theatre's 47 minutes of exhilaratingly acrobatic dance. Performed by an international company with a sound score that includes waves, tango music and kinetic drumming, the show celebrates the strength, lyricism and virtuosity of the human form. San Franciscan Hannah Gaff lifts a male colleague with ease as Audrey Leclair of Montreal comically mirrors the movements of Oakland's Juliana Frick. The production could use more injections of humor, especially since many of the performers are trained in commedia. Still, it's lovely to see, in an intimate space, something that crosses a water ballet with the thrilling feats of, say, Cirque du Soleil. (5:30 p.m. Fri., Rarig Center Proscenium, 330 21st Av.
