Vikings cornerback Terence Newman did not practice on Tuesday and is listed doubtful to play Thursday on Thanksgiving Day in Detroit.

Newman is dealing with a neck injury and played only 22 snaps on Sunday against the Cardinals. Cornerback Trae Waynes would start for Newman.

Receiver Stefon Diggs (knee), cornerback Captain Munnerlyn (ankle), safety Harrison Smith (ankle) and linebacker Eric Kendricks (hip) were all listed questionable, or 50/50, to play Thursday against the Lions.

Head coach Mike Zimmer said on his weekly KFAN radio appearance that he expected Munnerlyn and Smith to play. Diggs caught six passes on 43 snaps [74%] against the Cardinals.

Punt returner Marcus Sherels (rib/ankle) and defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd (knee) have been ruled out. Receivers Adam Thielen and Diggs have returned punts for Sherels.
