Redbox is offering 10 daily discount deals starting today. Today's deal is only a dime off a $1 rental, but the discounts will increase to $1.50 off. Movies and TV episodes can be rented through June 2. Redbox movies are usually $1 per rental, much cheaper than pay-per-view prices of $4 to $6.

To get the daily deal, text DEALS to 727272 every day through May 25.

If you don't have a smartphone, here's a different deal. You can sign up for free coupon codes here. i just signed up and although I got the codes, I had to be carfeful to give as little personal info as possible. I'm warning you that the site offers multiple prompts to get you to sign up for stuff. Avoid it by clicking on "skip" when necessary.

I am not guaranteeing that the codes for a free rental work, but here are a few from the site: DVDONME123, ACME25 and XTT75HM.

Here's one more free movie rental tip. Comcast recently sent cable subscribers a free movie rental coupon with a brochure about the new onscreen program guide. If you threw yours away, call Comcast and ask for a new one to be sent out. One more tip for Comcast cable subscribers: Call around the first of the month to ask about premium channel deals. I have been able to get deals on HBO, Showtime and others for $10 each per month. Sometimes I get three months free of one channel. When the deals expire and no new discounts are offered, you can choose to cancel.

Got any other DVD or movie rental deals to share?
