A drug deal near a southeast metro high school Tuesday morning ended with three teenagers allegedly being robbed at gunpoint, authorities said.

The three male juveniles, one age 16 and two age 15, were in the parking lot of Northview Park near Eagan High School at 9:35 a.m. when they were involved in an "attempted drug exchange," Eagan police said.

Authorities are looking for three suspects who robbed the group of teens.

One of three suspects pointed a gun at the teens and "demanded valuables." Authorities said a gunshot was allegedly fired into the air and the suspects ran off.

No one was injured in the incident, police added.

Aaron Machtemes, public information officer for Eagan police, said the teens are not in custody and authorities are in the process of identifying the suspects and attempting to locate them.

Machtemes said there is a possibility the teens and the suspects could be charged.
