Two teens speeding in an interstate construction zone in Maple Grove rolled their car and crashed, leaving the driver critically injured from the fiery wreck, authorities said.

The crash occurred about 6:35 p.m. Saturday on Interstate 94 near Hemlock Lane in Maple Grove, the State Patrol said.

Driving was Abraham R. Ingli, 18, of Knapp, Wis. Ingli was in critical condition Sunday at North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale, a hospital spokeswoman said. A relative, 16-year-old Isaac Ingli, also of Knapp, was treated at the same hospital and released, the spokeswoman said.

According to the patrol:

The car was speeding on westbound I-94 in the left lane. An SUV in the center lane swerved to the left to avoid another vehicle. That prompted the car to veer from the SUV, hit construction barrels, flip and catch fire.
