A 15-year-old boy was killed late Sunday night in what appears to be an accidental shooting, according to Minneapolis police.
Officers arrived about 11 p.m. to a home on the 4100 block of Fremont Av. N. after getting a call about a shot fired. When they arrived, they found the teen dead from a gunshot wound.
Police are still investigating and are releasing few details. "The preliminary investigation says it could be an accidental shooting," police spokesman John Elder said Monday evening.
