MONTGOMERY, Minn. – A man is dead and a teenager in custody after a shooting in south-central Minnesota.
Richard Nelson, 47, was found dead from a gunshot wound to his head Monday night, the Le Sueur County Sheriff's Office said.
Officers were called to the home in rural Montgomery about 11 p.m. Investigators located the 18-year-old suspect and arrested him without incident.
The investigation continues, but authorities said they are confident that there are no other suspects and that there is no risk to the public.
