A cement truck rammed an SUV from behind in western Wisconsin, killing the teenager driving the smaller vehicle, authorities said Monday.

The collision occurred on Hwy. 46 north of Amery, about 20 miles east of the Minnesota border, according to the Wisconsin State Patrol.

Killed in the crash Friday morning was Marissa Greenebaum, 17, of Amery, the patrol said. She died several hours later at Regions Hospital in St. Paul.

The driver of the truck, Kenneth Maynard Riebe, 35, of Baldwin, Wis., was not hurt. Authorities have yet to reveal the circumstances leading up to the collision.
