A teenager died Thursday in a crash on a motocross-style motorcycle in St. Cloud.
Police were called to the single-vehicle crash at 25th Avenue and Veterans Drive at 3:30 p.m. Despite efforts to save him, the 17-year-old St. Cloud boy died at the scene.
Police believe the motorcycle was traveling west on Veterans Drive. After the teen passed through the intersection with 25th Avenue, he went up the sidewalk while on the motorcycle, lost control and struck a wooden electrical pole.
No other vehicles were involved.
