Target Field Year 2, by the numbers

March 30, 2011 at 6:32AM

130 additional radiant heaters have been installed. Six locations have more heaters, the majority (68) on the Terrace Concourse, great news for upper-level fans between the foul poles.

17 home games in August -- the best month at Target Field because the home dates include the only visits by the Red Sox and Yankees, plus games against Central rivals Chicago and Detroit.

14 pine trees have been removed from behind the center field fence. Twelve have been moved to state parks, the other two auctioned for the Twins Community Fund.

5 new food offerings are available this year for the hungry fan. The new additions include Walk A Taco by St. Paul's El Burrito Mercado -- the first iconic St. Paul establishment at Target Field.

100 Wi-Fi access points have been installed for those compulsive high-tech folks who can't stand the thought of being away from their mobile device during a ballgame.
