The Wild placed forwards Petr Sykora and Robbie Earl on waivers today. Both have 24 hours to clear and could be assigned to AHL Houston. The question would be if Sykora would report. If Sykora clears, the Wild could also call Sykora back via re-entry waivers to try to entice another team to take him at half the cap hit.
