A 23-year-old man from Swatara, Minn., died Thursday in a snowmobile crash, according to Cass County authorities.
Deputies received a 911 call just after 6 p.m. Thursday that Jeremy Joseph Gindele had been taken inside a residence after being gravely injured in the crash. He died at the residence.
Gindele was riding a 2007 Ski-Doo 600 Renegade in a field on private property when he lost control of the machine and was thrown off, according to Sheriff Tom Burch.
An autopsy will be conducted by the Ramsey County medical examiner. The crash remains under investigation.
