Swagger Wagon Rap

Representing the cul-de-sac

May 11, 2010 at 4:03PM

I saw one Toyota Swagger Wagon ad, and wondered if they were attempting to kill the brand by associating it with people I disliked on sight. I'd buy the vehicle only to run over the people in the ad. Well, my mistake; should have watched more ads, gotten the full flavor. Or so I'm guessing. Because it turns out the ad campaign is a bit more . . . interesting.

This got a million hits in a few days. Attention Joaquim Phoenix: this is how you do "funny," "conceptual," and "rap."
