An SUV driver veered off a western Wisconsin road in the early morning hours and was killed in a crash, authorities said.
The wreck occurred about 2:45 a.m. Sunday in a rural area northwest of Menomonie, the Dunn County Sheriff's Office said.
The SUV was heading north on 390th Street, when it went through a stop sign at Hwy. 12, left the road and struck a tree.
The driver, 24-year-old John C. Quinn V of nearby Elk Mound, was dead at the scene.
