Supreme Court issues opinion in Emmer case

More than two weeks after rejecting Tom Emmer's petition to re-reconcile the ballots in the governor's race, the Minnesota Supreme Court issued their opinion on Tuesday afternoon.

Emmer's camp argued that "voter receipts" were not an acceptable document with which to compare the number of ballots. The court said they were, based on longstanding legal precedent.
