Super Bowl host cities

Minneapolis last played host to a Super Bowl after the 1991 season. The Vikings finished 8-8 that year and left the winter weather behind for the Washington Redskins and Buffalo Bills to deal with in Super Bowl XXVI. The game returns for Super Bowl LII after 26 years, making Minneapolis the second northern city to host the event multiple times.
