"Super 8" title may confuse people

Or not.

Film geeks are really pulling for "Super 8," because they like JJ Abrams, and because it just looks smart, capable, and entertaining. Not despite all the child actors, but because of them, which seems almost impossible. Okay, they're teens, but they're not preternaturally hip good-looking teens that exist only in movies. There's even a Fanning in it, and from the six-minute clip she seems to be quite a natural. Unlike the other Fanning, who makes some people's teeth ache. Anyway, people have noted that the poster looks like a throwback to 80s movies as well. True:

Anyone who thought "Super 8" was a Super Hero would be expecting a Sesame Street sketch. The whole interview is here, if you're interested.
