Sunday show added for 'An Ideal Husband'

Walking Shadow nearly sold out for closing weekend of its Oscar Wilde play.

For the first time Walking Shadow Theatre has added a show to a run. The theater will perform the extra (and final) show of "An Ideal Husband" at 3 p.m. Sunday. The other three weekend performances are sold out, said John Heimbuch, an artistic director.

The political comedy of manners, by Oscar Wilde concerns a Member of Parliament who's being blackmailed for past financial wrongdoing. He turns for help to his friend Lord Goring, an unemployed fop who finds ways to save the day.

The play's cast includes Adam Whisner, Sara Ochs, Teresa Marie Doran, David Beukema, Alan Sorenson, Heidi Berg and Maggie Bearmon Pistner. It is directed by Amy Rummenie and features period costumes by Amy Hill.
