• Torii Hunter did the right thing by dropping his appeal for his ejection. How can you defend taking your uniform top off and tossing it on the field?.
• If Major League Baseball really wants to make the amateur draft a big deal, don't play any games on Day 1. That puts all the attention on the draft.

• Tyler Jay will not be called up this year and will debut for the Twins in 2017.
• After no team scored 800 runs last year, the Blue Jays will score more than 850 this year.
